About Us

Get to know more about us

Colorado Food Reviews is a regional food publication covering restaurants, dining culture, and local food trends across Colorado.

We focus on identifying and documenting the best places to eat in towns and cities across the state — from family-run diners and food trucks to standout regional staples and emerging local spots.

Our mission is to create a statewide food record that’s both accessible and grounded in reality — something people can actually use to explore Colorado’s evolving food scene.

How We Create Content

All of our content is produced by an internal editorial team. Articles are built using a combination of:

  • First-party research
  • Publicly available reviews
  • Social media content from real customers and creators
  • Menus, photos, and business records
  • Direct communication with restaurants when needed

We use these sources to build curated lists, category roundups, and city-level guides. Every article goes through an internal review process before publishing. Each recommendation is made based on a consistent editorial standard, not personal opinion.

What We Cover

  • Restaurant guides by city and region
  • Food category features (e.g., burgers, green chili, tacos, breakfast burritos)
  • Local dining trends and notable openings
  • Underreported food scenes in rural and mid-size markets

We prioritize independent and locally owned restaurants across the state, especially those that are overlooked by traditional media.

Why We’re Doing This

Colorado has a strong, diverse food culture — but most coverage stays focused on a handful of cities. Many restaurants doing exceptional work outside the spotlight are ignored or underrepresented.

We launched Colorado Food Reviews to change that.

Our goal is to build a long-term archive of Colorado’s food culture, with consistent coverage, verified information, and an emphasis on clarity over hype.

Where We’re Headed

This project is built for scale. Over time, we’ll continue expanding our city coverage, deepen our category indexes, and bring on more contributors from across the state.

We’re not here for trends — we’re here to document what’s happening on the ground and create the most reliable, wide-ranging source of restaurant information in Colorado.
